More Sketching

Hey, and welcome back! For today's post I have a few more sketches to bring to you. First off, a work-in-progress sketch of a portrait taken a while back.

Portraits are really a nice thing. The best part is, they have been used throughout history to such

an extent that the idea of a portrait really becomes sort of symbolic as a representation of a person. Particularly during a certain moment in time–they really capture a temporary essence. They can provide an incredibly unique point of view that may never exist again anywhere else. Always a great idea as a sketch.

This other sketch here is also a work-in-progress for a more illustration based graphic scene. There will be more to come from this image in a future post, though it's interesting to view an “in development” stage of what this image will ultimately become.
